Website Maintenance

A website that stays current — without you touching it

Wrong hours on the site. A contact form that quietly stopped sending. Prices from last year. A phone number one digit off. None of it announces itself — it just costs you customers one at a time. Our care plan keeps your site accurate, fast, healthy, and monitored every month, so you never have to think about it.

Why It Matters

Websites break quietly

A website isn’t a thing you finish. It’s a live storefront that drifts out of date and quietly develops problems — and almost none of those problems tell you they’ve happened.

📧

The silent form failure

Contact forms stop delivering for boring technical reasons — and every lead who fills one out afterward thinks you ignored them. It’s the most expensive failure a small business site can have, and the one owners find out about last.

🕑

Stale information

Old hours, old prices, a service you stopped offering, a team member who left two years ago. Customers notice — and Google and AI search cross-check your site against your Google profile, so mismatches cost visibility too.

🐌

Performance drift

Sites get slower as they age: photos uploaded at full size, an embed added here, a script there. Speed decays gradually enough that nobody notices until the score — and the traffic — has sagged.

🔒

Certificates & links

An expired security certificate throws a full-screen browser warning that scares off every visitor. Broken links pile up as pages change. Both are trivial to catch when someone’s checking monthly — and ugly when no one is.

The Plan

One flat plan. $250 a month.

No tiers, no contracts, no surprises. Here’s exactly what the care plan includes — and just as importantly, what it doesn’t:

Included every month

Up to 2 hours of content updates — text changes, photo swaps, hours, prices, minor copy adjustments. Just text or email us; it’s done.
A monthly performance check: PageSpeed score verified, schema markup validated, broken links scanned, security checked
Priority response — within 4 business hours
A monthly summary email with your numbers and anything we flagged
Unused time rolls over one month (up to 3 hours in any single month)
Cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice

Not included (scoped separately)

New pages — a real addition to the site is its own small project
New features or interactive components
Major redesign work — that’s a redesign project
Ongoing SEO content — that’s the Local & AI Search plans
Photo or video production

The line is simple: everything that keeps your current site accurate and healthy is covered. Real new construction is scoped and priced upfront as its own work — you’ll always know before anything is billed.

Alternatives

Not every site needs a monthly plan

Honestly: if you update your site twice a year, don’t pay us monthly. There are two other ways to handle updates, and we’ll recommend whichever actually fits.

Hourly, as needed — $75/hr. One-off updates billed in one-hour minimums, invoiced after the work. Right for businesses whose sites rarely change. No commitment, no monthly bill.

Self-edit — free. Sileon-built sites are clean HTML you own, and for clients comfortable with basic file edits we include a short training at handoff on making safe text changes. The care plan exists for owners who’d rather never open a file — which, fairly, is most of them.

Any Site

We didn’t build it? Usually fine.

The care plan isn’t limited to Sileon-built sites. If your site is custom HTML or a reasonably clean build, we can take over its care — we’ll assess it first, tell you what shape it’s in, and be upfront about anything that limits what maintenance can do.

The one honest caveat: on builder platforms like Wix or Squarespace, we can keep content current, but the platform controls the performance and the underlying structure — there’s a ceiling on how healthy we can keep it. If your site’s real problem is the platform, we’ll say so, and the answer might be a rebuild you own outright instead of a subscription to maintaining the problem.

Questions

Frequently asked

What counts as a content update?
Anything that keeps the current site accurate: changing text, swapping photos, updating hours or prices, fixing a typo, adding a testimonial, refreshing a service description. You text or email the change, we make it, usually same day. New pages and new features are real construction — those get scoped separately and estimated before any work starts.
What happens in the monthly performance check?
We verify your Google PageSpeed score hasn’t drifted, validate that your schema markup still parses correctly, scan the site for broken links, and run a security check. You get a short plain-English summary each month — what we checked, what we found, what we fixed.
Is there a contract?
No. The plan is month to month at $250, cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. If you built with Sileon, you own your files either way — canceling the care plan never puts your site at risk or locks you out of anything.
Do unused hours roll over?
One month’s worth, yes. If you use 1 hour this month, you can use up to 3 next month. It doesn’t accumulate beyond that — the plan is priced for steady care, not banked labor.
Does the care plan include SEO?
It keeps the technical foundation healthy — speed, valid schema, working links — which SEO depends on. But active visibility work like Google Business Profile management, review building, and monthly content is its own discipline with its own plans, starting at $500/month. Plenty of clients run both; plenty run just one. Different jobs.
Can you maintain a site someone else built?
Usually, yes. We’ll look at the site first and give you a straight answer about its condition — some sites we can care for as-is, some come with limits we’ll name upfront, and occasionally the honest advice is that maintaining it is throwing good money after bad. You’ll know which before you pay anything.

Stop thinking about your website

That’s the whole point. $250 a month, your site stays accurate and healthy, updates happen when you text us, and a real person checks everything monthly. Reach out and we’ll get you set up — or take an honest look at the site you have first.
