Google Growth for contractors

Being “on Google” is not the same as being findable for the work you want.

Sileon helps contractors strengthen the parts of local search they can actually influence: Business Profile quality, useful service and market coverage, reviews, site clarity, technical foundations and measurement — without selling fake ranking guarantees.

How local search actually works

Google does not rank a contractor because an agency “did SEO.”

Local visibility comes from a mix of relevance, proximity and prominence plus the quality and accessibility of the business information Google can understand.

Relevance

Does the business clearly match the service the customer searched for? Categories, service pages, business facts and topical clarity all contribute to that understanding.

Distance

Proximity is real and cannot be optimized away. A contractor cannot honestly “rank everywhere” simply by publishing city pages.

Prominence

Reviews, real-world reputation, links/mentions, business corroboration and overall web presence can strengthen how established the business appears.

The practical lesson: good contractor SEO works on the controllable pieces and refuses to promise the parts Google decides.
Where contractors waste money

More pages and more keywords are not automatically more growth.

The expensive mistake is paying for activity that is disconnected from the jobs the business actually wants.

City-page factories

Twenty near-duplicate pages do not create twenty useful market assets. A market page should exist because there is real customer/search intent and enough business-specific substance to make it useful.

Ranking reports without inquiry evidence

Rank movement can be useful context, but it is not the same thing as a call, estimate request or qualified opportunity.

SEO poured into a weak destination

If the website looks untrustworthy, hides the CTA or misrepresents the service, more traffic can simply create more wasted visits.

Permanent retainers with nothing left to do

Once the foundation is strong, the business should be able to ask what the next month of work is buying. If the answer is weak, downgrade or stop.

What the first 90 days should accomplish

Establish the truth, fix the foundation, then use production capacity intentionally.

Ninety days is enough to create a clean baseline and meaningful work record. It is not a deadline by which anyone can responsibly guarantee a ranking or revenue result.

Baseline

Map the Business Profile, Search Console data where available, priority services/markets, existing pages, reviews, technical constraints and measurement.

Foundation

Fix the highest-value profile, technical, business-information and page problems before creating more content for the sake of activity.

Production

Use the selected tier on the strongest next opportunity: service coverage, priority market, internal linking, profile work, review process or another verified gap.

Day 90 question: is there enough valuable work left to justify another 90 days at the same level? That is the decision a good report should help answer.

Plans

More monthly capacity only matters when there is enough opportunity to use it well.

Sileon does not treat the biggest plan as the automatic answer.

Get Found · $500/mo

Stewardship plus one bounded visibility improvement each month. $300 setup. Best for a business whose foundation needs attention but does not justify recurring production at Grow volume.

Grow · $900/mo

Our preferred recurring level when the roadmap supports it. More production capacity across services, markets and higher-value visibility gaps. $500 setup.

Lead · $1,600/mo

Broader competition, two Growth Units plus authority work. Operationally defined, but Sileon is not pushing this tier until lower-tier delivery has stronger proof.

All Search Growth plans: 90-day initial engagement, then month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. No ranking guarantee.
